I Will Not Kill Myself – The Purpose of this Book

I Will Not Kill Myself has one purpose: talk the man or woman down off the ledge. It’s a short, fast, blunt, raw ranting of reasons a suicidal person should chill for a second, think things over just one more time. It offers logic, hope and encouragement. Get it to those who are hurting, struggling, feeling a failure or just plain ‘wanting out.’ It may be what makes all the difference.

Thoughts

Hello, friends. It’s Lokian. (Eric.) Been a bit since I was here. A recent event has motivated me to write again, however. Thursday (May 26) I had a commutation hearing, in which I was given five no recommendations by the board that interviewed me. I’d gone in doing what I’ve done for 15 years – debating the fairness of my life without parole sentence over what happened between Jamey and I, my criminal case, going after the courts and the … Continue reading “Thoughts”

Books Written by Prison Inmates: Corrupt Courts and Crazy Convicts: Doin Life in Fort Mad

… I just want them to follow the law. THEIR OWN law. WHY DON’T THEY FOLLOW THE LAW?!? Corrupt Courts and Crazy Convicts: Doin Life in Fort Mad – Available on Amazon. This is a book of comical jail and prison stories interspersed with facts on how the system is set up to cheat you. It’s a book of laughter and a book of exposure, laying bare ugly truths that some powerful people don’t want laid bare. It gives irrefutable, … Continue reading “Books Written by Prison Inmates: Corrupt Courts and Crazy Convicts: Doin Life in Fort Mad”

Do I? Express Your Feelings, Man

Do I write what’s in my heart and soul, all of it, no holds barred, even if I know it’ll hurt or offend those who care? What if I know they’ll never read it? Only hear about it from someone else. The telephone game, all of it twisted anyway. Do I write baring all my feelings, emotions, even if they aren’t fair to others, even if they’re the emotions of a selfish and angry man-boy? Or does the fact that … Continue reading “Do I? Express Your Feelings, Man”

Lokian Musings – by Eric Miller

Lokian says …   Mom wants me to do Christian comedy. I say there’s no such thing. The best I can do is comedy about Christianity. Even that’s hard though. I read the whole Bible in jail. Didn’t laugh once.   There’s no better feeling than a fan blowing in your face on a hot summer day. And I have lots of fans. I’ve been writing for a while now.   I have one of those mental illnesses where I … Continue reading “Lokian Musings – by Eric Miller”

Lokian’s Thoughts on Religion

Nearly all the friends I had in high school are now parts of the church. Youth ministers, musicians, etc. I think the church is the only place they ever felt passionate release of all their inner sh*t and so it meant a lot to them (and so of course the Bible had to be true!) I felt the same way when I was young, but I eventually realized that taking on a Jesus relationship for comfort and hope only prevented … Continue reading “Lokian’s Thoughts on Religion”

Justice or Not? You Decide. Eric Miller’s Response to Iowa Courts of Appeals Ruling in the Case vs Miller

A Google search of my name apparently brings up the Iowa Court of Appeals ruling on my appeal. (2009 Iowa App. LEXIS 101: State v. Miller: Feb 4, 2009) Allow me to show you how the courts cheat: First, know this: what happened was by law Assisting Suicide or Voluntary Manslaughter (10 years for either). They made sure I got Murder One (Life Without Parole), and did so by not telling my jury the law – that murder is reduced … Continue reading “Justice or Not? You Decide. Manslaughter vs Murder 1 – Exposing Corrupt Courts

My name is Eric Miller. I’m in on murder, that should’ve been manslaughter. I’m doing Life Without Parole because the courts of Iowa and the Federal 8th Circuit don’t follow their own laws. (Big claim, right? I lay out the details in full in Why Miller Turned Killer and How the System Fucks You (coming soon). They don’t follow the law. THEIR OWN LAW. And the black and white of their rulings proves it. … And I will expose them … Continue reading “Manslaughter vs Murder 1 – Exposing Corrupt Courts”

Be Raw, Be Real – Do Real Men Cry?

I fear no man who has not the courage to cry.  To LET HIMSELF cry.  A man who can’t face and indulge his sadness, his emotional pain, will never feel the true power of indulging his rage.  He isn’t much threat to me. The toughest kid I ever knew growing up cried while he raged, while he whooped another kid.  Passion overload.  And no concern about baring it all publicly. I made sure to never be on the receiving end … Continue reading “Be Raw, Be Real – Do Real Men Cry?”

Self Realization – Do You Know Who You Are?

SELF-REALIZATION is the life’s goal of the Free Man. That is, learning who you are – YOU, not what you’ve been instructed or are expected to be, not your parent’s or guardian’s or teacher’s (or society’s) lives and biases and beliefs and opinions, not THEM – YOU – learning who you are and living free as that person, whether that remains constant or you change every week – whoever YOU are. What you want. What makes you love life. All … Continue reading “Self Realization – Do You Know Who You Are?”
